Pier Pressure

Pier Pressure by BanksyNot much to see here, save for Pier Pressure, Banksy’s latest that takes aim at BP’s disastrous oil spill in the Gulf.  The infamous artiste has reconditioned your average 25 cent super market dolphin ride with a barrel leaking crude oil, intertwined with a fishing net. I’m not sure how many parents would want their kid to take a ride on Banky’s version of a carnival ride, but perhaps that’s the point. It’s disgusting nature perfectly represents the ongoing disaster, which generations will be forced to endure with thanks to the catastrophe caused by one deep well gone bad.
