The SportScreen is an up-and-coming sporting accessory that provides customers with a protective barrier that stops pucks, balls and whatever else you can throw at it, from destroying your garage door. HC2 was presented with a challenge to revamp The SportScreen’s online presence, paying specific attention to the end-user experience when ordering and going through the check-out process. The redeveloped site employs a solid content management system that can be easily used by the client to update content, while it also presents a stream-lined online shopping experience with a single-step checkout that supports payment via PayPal. Other e-commerce features include cross and up-selling capabilities, inventory and order management, automatically generated packing slips and calculation of shipping rates, as well as coupons for offering discounts. The new online presence inherits many stylistic elements from the original site, while it is now enriched with more product information, customer reviews and testimonials, links to relevant social media tools, as well as a customer support gateway.
