String Theory is the striking debut album from Danielle Lennon, a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and composer based in Kingston, Ontario. To support the debut of Lennon’s blockbuster-worthy original compositions, HC2 produced branded collateral including a website, press-related materials, and the album’s artwork. The central design features a colouful and grandiose galaxy, which is presented in various forms. The album artwork prominently showcases this cosmic body, which is double-exposed with Lennon’s profile picture and set atop a luminescent meteor shower. The visual composition presents a fearless, otherworldly approach towards classical music, which endeavours to redefine the listener’s attitude towards the genre. Further, the album’s namesake and placement of galactic elements atop Lennon’s profile also hint at the cerebral experience afforded by the artist’s debut compositions. Supporting ticket, poster and press-related collateral were crafted with same thematic elements and intentional cinematic flare.
