This is a DVD label that was designed for Backhand, a student film by Tyler Vanderwallen. Backhand is a thriller that was shot in and around Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. The objective of this design was to immerse the audience in one of the most tense scenes of the plot, which involved a nail-biting standoff between a masked psycho and an innocent co-ed.
